Baked Cinnamon Donuts







    Ingredients                                          Method



      250 g flour                                         Preheat oven to 180°C/355°F.
      2 tablespoons ground flax                           Grease your donut pans and set aside.
      2 teaspoons baking powder
      1 teaspoon baking soda                              In a large bowl combine flour, flaxseed, and baking
                                                          powder, baking soda, salt, nutmeg and cinnamon.
      1/2 teaspoon salt
      1/2 teaspoon nutmeg                                 In a medium bowl mix sugar, applesauce, milk and
                                                          vanilla.
      1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
      100 g sugar                                         Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and mix
                                                          until combined.
      122 g unsweetened applesauce
      146 g milk                                          Pour your mixture into your donut pan, filling each
      1 teaspoon vanilla extract                          donut until it's around 3/4 full.
      Cinnamon sugar mix:                                 Sprinkle over your cinnamon sugar mixture over the
      2 tablespoons sugar                                 top of each donut.
      1/2 teaspoon cinnamon                               Bake for 15-20 minutes or until a skewer removes
                                                          clean and the edges have pulled in from the sides.
