Chinese Plum Sauce








    Ingredients                                          Method



      340 grams plums jam                                 In a saucepan over medium heat, combine jam,
      2 tablespoons vinegar                               vinegar, brown sugar, onion, chillies, garlic and
                                                          ginger. Bring to a boil, stirring frequently.
      1 tablespoon dark brown sugar                       Remove from heat.
      (soft)                                              Serve immediately or allow to cool to room
      1 tablespoon minced onion                           temperature before storing in the refrigerator.

      1 teaspoon chillies (crushed dried)
      1 clove garlic (minced)
      1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
