Tasty Curry
Ingredients Method
150g Chicken style quorn pieces.
1 Onion thinly sliced.
Garlic clove chopped. Pour the stock over the onions in a
1-2 tbsp raisins. saucepan, simmer gently for 15 minutes
small can of chopped pineapple or until the onions have softened.
(remove the juice).
350ml vegetable stock or
(1 veg stock cube with 350ml water). Meanwhile cook the rice according to
2 Cardamom pods. back of pack instructions.
(crush and use the small black seeds).
½ tsp ground ginger.
1 tsp turmeric. Add the garlic and the spices to the
½ tsp ground cinnamon. saucepan cook for a few minutes then
½ tsp ground cumin. add the Chicken style quorn pieces and
½ tsp ground coriander. the pineapple and raisins, stir well and
½ tsp mild chili powder. cook for 15 minutes or until the rice is
1 tbsp freshly chopped coriander. cooked.
100ml milk and 1 tbsp cornflour.
Salt and pepper.
Rice. Remove from the heat.
Add the cornflour to the milk and mix
well add the milk mix to the curry until it
thickens add the freshly chopped
coriander and season to taste.
Serve on top of the rice.
